About the Event

Anthony and Alicia Campiglia were traveling other bike Saturday, April 10 when an F150 turned into traffic and hit them. I driver and passenger got out and ran. Anthony was thrown from the bike and sustain several broken bones, including his leg and pelvis. He has undergone several surgeries to save his leg but will be in a wheelchair to heal. Alicia was pinned under the bike, which is trapped under the truck and it caught fire. She has sustained third and fourth degree burns and has had multiple skin grafts. She has also lost her right leg from the knee down and three toes on her left foot in addition to other broken bones. She is still hospitalized and has a long road to recovery.

They are the proud parents of Alessia, AJ, & Joseph, wonderful friends and family to have so many, and stewards of the Ocmulgee River. They are a huge part of the Float Daze family and help organize and participate in cleanups and fundraisers every year. Please join us to show some community love to this family during their time of need.
